Who we are
Vida de Planta is a product of Lucksrei Systems, operated by LUCAS DIOGO FRANCA, a sole proprietor (trade name LUCKS TECH) registered under Brazilian company tax ID (CNPJ) no. 54.868.173/0001-55, based in Goiânia/GO, Brazil. LUCAS DIOGO FRANCA is the controller of the personal data processed by the service under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law no. 13,709/2018). Privacy contact: [email protected].
Data that stays on your device
Plants, routines, reminders, journal, photos and preferences are stored locally on your device (in the browser, on the web version). We do not require an account and we do not send this data to our servers. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, it is deleted.
Plant identification (optional)
It only happens when you ask for it and after you confirm on screen. The resized photo is sent to a Lucksrei server (Cloudflare Workers), which only forwards it to Pl@ntNet for recognition. At Lucksrei: the photo is neither stored nor logged; the server keeps only daily usage counters tied to a random device identifier and the originating network address, to limit abuse. At Pl@ntNet: the service receives the photo and handles it under its own policy (my.plantnet.org), which we do not control; read it before sending. Avoid photos that show people, faces or personal data.
Name checking
Suggested scientific names may be looked up in the open GBIF and World Flora Online databases. We send only the species name, never the photo or personal data.
Location and weather (optional)
You can pick a city from the list or, if you allow it, use the device's approximate location (rounded to about 1 km). To fetch the forecast, the app sends those approximate coordinates to the MET Norway service. The chosen place is saved only on the device and does not pass through Lucksrei servers. You can deny or revoke the permission at any time in your device settings.
Notifications
In the phone app, reminders are scheduled on the device itself and depend on your permission. The web version has no notifications while the page is closed: reminders appear in the app's reminders center.
Accounts and sync (future)
There is no login yet. When there is, it will be optional and this policy will be updated before then, explaining which data would be synced.
Cookies and tracking
The site and the app use no advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. The web app uses browser storage to keep your data and work offline. To display some rare characters, the browser may download fallback fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com), which exposes your network address to that service. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may log technical access data (such as the network address) for security.
Your rights
Because the data stays on your device, you control it directly and can delete it whenever you want. For privacy questions or requests, write to [email protected].

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
